Job summary

A leading social services organization in Singapore is seeking a Senior Training Officer to safeguard clients' well-being and implement training programs. The role requires certifications in disability care or social services, strong communication skills, and a commitment to client welfare. Qualifications

  • Certifications and prior experience in disability care, social services, or special education are advantageous.
  • Able to work with individuals with Down Syndrome, Autism, or other developmental delays.
  • Strong commitment to client welfare and service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguard health, safety, hygiene, and overall well-being of clients.
  • Design and carry out approved training plans and structured programs.
  • Support clients in building self-care abilities and positive social behaviours.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client records.
  • Work in partnership with families and internal teams for client development.
  • Observe and report on clients’ conditions, escalating issues as needed.
  • Recommend new training approaches and behaviour management strategies.
  • Engage in agency events and fundraising initiatives.

💰 Salary
  • Up to $2,600
  • Candidates with relevant experience may be considered for Senior Training Officer with a higher salary
🧩 Key Responsibilities:
  • Safeguard the health, safety, hygiene, and overall well-being of all clients throughout daily activities
  • Design, support, and carry out approved training plans and structured programmes
  • Support clients in building and sustaining self-care abilities, community living skills, and positive social behaviours
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of attendance, progress updates, behaviour tracking (ABC charts), incident reports, individual care plans (ICPs), and caregiver communications
  • Work in close partnership with families, caregivers, volunteers, and internal teams to encourage holistic client development
  • Observe and report on clients’ physical, emotional, and psychological conditions, escalating issues when required
  • Recommend and assist in rolling out new training approaches and behaviour management strategies
  • Engage in agency events, fundraising initiatives, and volunteer activities as needed.
