Job summary

A leading mental health institute in Singapore is seeking a Temp Research Assistant to help coordinate research projects, assist in blood drawing, and manage data entry. Candidates should have good communication skills, be willing to learn, and possess GCE ‘A’ level or Diploma qualifications along with certifications for blood collection. This is a part-time role requiring a commitment of 21 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of research projects.
  • Assist in blood drawing.
  • Coordination in research participants’ follow up visits.
  • Data entry and maintenance of database.
  • Data collection from participant interviews.
  • Managing in the scheduling of research assessment rooms.
  • Assist and support in research recruitment.
  • Assist in the preparation of manuscripts for submission.

Temp Research Assistant plays a crucial role as you will be providing support to ensure the smooth operations of the Research department.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination of research projects
  • Assist in blood drawing

  • Data collection from participant interviews
  • Managing in the scheduling of the research assessment rooms and reception area
  • Assist and support in research recruitment
  • Assist in the preparation of manuscripts for submission to journals
  • Any other tasks assigned
Requirements
Competency
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to learn
Educational and Professional Requirements
  • GCE ‘A’ level or Diploma holder. Open to those on Uni break
  • Trained and certified to collect blood samples or relevant academic qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Do note this is a temporary position, and we will only require the candidate to commit 21 hours per week, or the equivalent to 5 half-days.
