Job description

To continue the legacy of Goodwood Park, we are looking for dynamic and committed candidates to join our Maintenance Department.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, your job responsibilities include, but not limited to:-

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
  • Perform repair and maintenance works on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify faults on equipment such as lighting, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans, pumps, and kitchen/laundry machinery.
  • Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and work orders from various departments.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and update job completion status in the system or logbook.
  • Assist in the coordination and supervision of contractors for specialized maintenance works.
  • Follow safety procedures and hotel policies while carrying out all maintenance activities.
  • Support sustainability and energy conservation initiatives within the property.
  • Carry out shift duties, standby, and emergency call-backs as required.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Management.
Requirements
  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in hotel or building maintenance operations.
  • Hands-on knowledge in electrical, plumbing or air-conditioning systems.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
