Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Job Description
  1. Perform maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) tasks for aircraft components in accordance with technical manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  2. Examine parts for maintenance, repair or replacement, troubleshoots component defects and take corrective actions to restore components to the desired performance requirements.
  3. Ensure and comply with airworthiness and legislative requirements, and the organization’s safety, health and quality systems.
  4. Check and certify workshop maintenance test rigs, machinery and tools records; follow company procedures that relate to the accurate maintenance of aircraft components.
  5. Performs special processes and repair of composite structures, and documents all completed tasks.
  6. Identify components and parts that are unserviceable to raise parts requisitions.
  7. Perform quality control functions, including inspection of incoming materials and outgoing serviced items, and registration of non-conformances in accordance with the company procedures (Quality manual, AP&P, etc)
  8. Support in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices.
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Aerospace Engineering or in similar discipline.
  • Candidates with certifications in CAAS L11/L12/CO1 or M10,or equivalent papers would be an advantage.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.
  • Self-driven and motivated working as a team player.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
