Job summary

A facilities management company in Singapore is seeking an engineering technician to provide technical support for maintenance and repairs of M&E services. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, servicing ACMV systems, and handling client complaints. The ideal candidate will assist with the preparation of materials for maintenance and compile detailed service reports after completing tasks. This role involves proactive technical engagement and ensuring systems operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering technical support for preventive maintenance and ad hoc repair.
• Assist in checks on new installations for proper installation.
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment to ensure they are functional.
• Service and maintain various systems including ACMV and chilled water systems.
• Compile service reports after maintenance works.

Job description

• Provide engineering technical support for preventive maintenance and ad hoc repair / replacement works for M&E services.
• Preparation of material for carrying out of maintenance regime
• Assist in checks on new installations for proper installation pertaining to insulation work, piping gradient and accessibility
• Safety Inspection of equipment to ensure they are in working order
• Servicing and maintaining of ACMV System including chilled water system, DX system, VRV system and mechanical ventilation system
• Carry out regular preventive and corrective maintenance works as per schedule
• Attend to customer complaints and resolve or contain the issue
• Submit and compile service reports after completion of maintenance works
• Inspection and taking readings of meters
• Stock taking for inventory
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned whenever required
