The candidate will manage the technical aspects of sales, collaborate with sales teams for solution design, and conduct market analysis to guide strategic business planning. Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering and have 3–5 years of relevant experience in the Industrial Automation sector. 1. Technical Sales & Solution Architecture
  • Portfolio Management: Act as the technical subject matter expert for a comprehensive range of industrial automation products, including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, Industrial Networks, and Operations Software.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with the sales team to design and propose complex, value-driven solutions. Move beyond simple product selling to conceptualize integrated systems involving digital transformation like Digital Twins, Predictive Maintenance, and OT Cybersecurity, intelligent manufacturing etc.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate feasibility and value to prospective clients.
2. Strategic Business Development & Planning
  • Market Strategy: Throughout sales activities conduct in-depth market analysis of the industrial landscape. Identify emerging trends, key players, and untapped sectors to guide the sales team’s focus.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Develop and execute strategic business plans to penetrate new verticals. You will be responsible for mapping out where we should win, not just how the product works.
  • Strategic Positioning: Translate technical features into compelling business propositions. Create high-level strategic presentations (PPT) that speak to C-level stakeholders, focusing on ROI, operational efficiency, and long-term digitalization roadmaps.
Your Defining Qualities...
  • Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computing, Industrial system or related fields).
  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in the Industrial Automation or Engineering sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Industrial Automation market in Singapore. Familiarity with key plays, established player dynamics etc.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid conceptual knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and Industrial Networking. Experience with Industry 4.0 solutions (Digital Twin, Cyber Security) is a distinct advantage.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to think strategically. You must be able to look at a technical spec and understand the "business why" behind it.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent capability in crafting professional, persuasive presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. You must be able to tell a story with data and diagrams.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Excel & AI tools for market segmentation and pipeline analysis.
