Job description

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Job responsibilities
  • Manage repeatable projects, transparent and planning pipelines, managing Asia Pacific (APAC) network planning activities for asset/infrastructure planning to support product area demand forecasts over time.
  • Optimize Google’s production network for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Ingest, analyze, understand, and rationalize demand forecasts for all APAC related flows. Translate demand forecasts into regional capacity plans over time, taking into account market trends and technology changes to ensure the most optimized and cost effective network solution, translating this to asset/infrastructure requirements.
  • Own and deliver in-depth technical risk assessments based on various what-if analysis to ensure the best technical solution is planned for across the network.
  • Collaborate across internal teams, including business owners, cross-functional technical teams, negotiators and designers, and network deployment teams.
Minimum qualifications
