About the Role

Reports directly to the Managing Director. You are to serve as Qualified Person and manage a team of engineers to ensure safe structural design and excellent delivery of service to clients.

• Serve as Qualified Person (QP) and responsible for PE endorsement for projects assigned
• Responsible for the profitability and cost efficiency of your team
• Project coordination/management
• Lead projects and attend meetings
• Supervise and inspect construction works.
• Managing and supervising technical/site staff and administrative functions of the projects.
• Provide guidance and manage engineers in the team to ensure on‑time and accurate delivery of service.
• Check critical design calculations and specifications of the project prior to approving all C&S related documents and drawings produced in the projects prior to submission to regulatory authorities.
• Able to be hands‑on to carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works
• Able to be hands‑on in preparing design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions;
• Able to coordinate with various stakeholders such as clients, consultants, and contractors for projects

Knowledge & Skills

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or its equivalent
• Local design experience in C&S engineering work & conversant with Singapore Building Codes and Practices
• Familiarity with engineering software (e.g. Tedds, StaadPro, Prota, Etab) and submission procedures to regulatory authorities
• Strong report writing skills to prepare and furnish reports
• Registered with Singapore PE Board as Professional Engineer
• Willing to sign as signing QP
