As a Team Leader in the Data Business Area at Bloomberg located in Mumbai, your primary responsibility will be to lead and develop a high-performing team of energy specialists. Your team will focus on data management and analysis for the energy sector, including subsectors like oil & gas and renewable energy companies. Your role is crucial in maintaining consistency of standards within the sector and collaborating with others to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial data while offering company and industry-specific analysis. Your main tasks will involve staying updated on trends within the energy sector, utilizing your understanding of company data to locate, gather, and analyze information for client analysis in a timely and accurate manner. You will recruit and mentor a team of analysts who will specialize in energy and data management, empowering them to provide news content on market developments and technical analysis of trends. Collaboration with global counterparts to maintain consistency in data quality and timeliness across regions will also be a key aspect of your role.To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience with a strong track record of building relationships, a solid understanding of data management principles and technologies, experience in financial modeling, and proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Python.
