Job description

Purpose of Role

• To build up AI capabilities within Marine, such that Marine has its own team to perform and lead AI related projects, collaborate with other group functions pertaining to AI related developments
• To collaborate with other verticals pertaining to Marine's Transformation, such as Digitalization, Yard Transformation, Continuous Improvement and Technology & Innovation

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: To lead, manage and oversee a team of AI Engineers. Guiding them on technical knowledge, project management and execution, problem solving and establishing communications between internal and external stakeholders
• Project Management: Work and engage relevant stakeholders in managing and seeing through projects from start till end
• AI Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain AI systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Data Management: Collect, pre-process, and analyze large datasets to train and validate AI models.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholder, to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and implement best practices to enhance our AI capabilities.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience: Prior experience in AI/ML projects
