Job summary

An educational consultancy in Singapore is looking for a dedicated tutor to conduct 1-on-1 and group classes. Responsibilities
  • Conduct 1-to-1 online/offline (@Novena) lessons
  • Conduct group online/offline (@Novena) classes
  • Create an engaging learning experience for students
  • Inspire and motivate students to excel in attaining their objectives for having tuition classes: be it exam preparation and academic improvement
  • Monitor learning progress and periodical exams
  • Prepare and deliver lessons that facilitate active learning experiences
  • Communicate clear objectives for students learning activities
Requirements
  • A good Diploma/Degree in Chemistry subject preferred
  • Familiar with government schools syllabus, or O/A Level, IGCSE or IB programme
  • Passionate in teaching and inspiring teenagers
  • High level of professional integrity and good work ethic
  • A team player and a self-starter, open to feedback and willing to take on new challenges.
  • Flexible, able to manage change and ambiguity well and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Relevant teaching experience (preferred)
  • Adept in learning new educational tools and software where necessary
  • Able to work on evenings and weekends
