Job summary

A technology company in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a system administration role. The ideal applicant should possess a Diploma or Degree in IT, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration, and familiarity with various related technologies is advantageous. This position focuses on managing production systems and requires knowledge in system security, networking, and databases.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in IT or equivalent experience with Linux/MCSE/Unix Certification(s).
• 2+ years hands-on experience in system administration for production systems.
• Experience in OS patching and upgrade, system security, OS virtualization, HA/clustering.
• Working experience in networking (TCP/IP), physical hardware and/or storage systems.
• Knowledge of Unix (Solaris or AIX) will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of apache http web server, middleware like WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat/IIS will be advantageous.
• Knowledge in Integrated Security Access Management software such as IBM ISAM will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of JDBC and Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) will be advantageous.
