Role: System Analyst

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their operational needs, identify problems, and define system requirements for new projects and enhancements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems and business processes to identify areas for improvement, automation, and optimization.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and comprehensive functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and other relevant documentation.
- Work closely with development teams, architects, and quality assurance teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure solutions meet business objectives and technical standards.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements, present findings, and obtain stakeholder approvals.
- Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and defect analysis to ensure the quality and integrity of delivered solutions.
- Assist in the creation of training materials and provide support to end‑users post‑implementation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system analysis and banking technology.
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and change management activities.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Computing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business and system requirements.
- Proficiency in creating flowcharts, process maps, use cases, and other analytical tools.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with banking products, services, and regulatory requirements is highly advantageous.
- Experience with database concepts (SQL) and an understanding of system integration principles is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Microsoft Project) is a plus.
