Role: System Analyst

Job Requisition Number: IS-71208

Job Level: 6 – 9 years of relevant experience (L3)

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their operational needs, identify problems, and define system requirements for new projects and enhancements.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems and business processes to identify areas for improvement, automation, and optimization.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and comprehensive functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and other relevant documentation.
  • Work closely with development teams, architects, and quality assurance teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure solutions meet business objectives and technical standards.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements, present findings, and obtain stakeholder approvals.
  • Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and defect analysis to ensure the quality and integrity of delivered solutions.
  • Assist in the creation of training materials and provide support to end‑users post‑implementation.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system analysis and banking technology.
  • Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and change management activities.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Computing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business and system requirements.
  • Proficiency in creating flowcharts, process maps, use cases, and other analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with banking products, services, and regulatory requirements is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with database concepts (SQL) and an understanding of system integration principles is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Microsoft Project) is a plus.
