The company manages a part of foreign exchange reserve within the scope authorized by the People’s Bank of China, undertakes and transacts various kinds of investment businesses.

Job Description:

The System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. This role ensures the integrity and high availability of IT infrastructure and provides support to users and IT team members. The System Administrator will also assist in system and network troubleshooting, patching, performance tuning, and security hardening.

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows, Linux, or hybrid environments).
  • Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
  • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, and group policies.
  • Implement security tools, policies, and procedures to ensure a secure system environment.
  • Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to plan and support system projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
