Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply & Demand Chain Executive to join our team at Blue Bottle Coffee. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the café’s day-to-day administrative operations, with a strong emphasis on inventory management, report generation, and providing data-driven support to the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Operations:

• Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle documentation, filing, and record-keeping.
• Coordinate communication between departments.
• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for efficient trucking and transportation of inventory.
• Monitor warehousing practices to maintain organized, safe, and optimized storage.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of packaging, equipment, and supplies.
• Assess and manage risks within the supply chain to minimize disruptions and maintain continuity.
• Implement sustainable and efficient packaging strategies aligned with brand standards.
• Continuously review and improve supply chain processes for scalability and efficiency.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and operations.
• Analyze data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Generate ad-hoc reports for management as needed.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and manage stock levels of items, packaging, and other supplies.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate for stock replenishment and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in the F&B or retail industry.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and report preparation.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
