A leading procurement firm in Singapore seeks an experienced procurement manager. You will develop strategies, manage supplier relations, and drive cost optimization initiatives. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
Plan sourcing activities based on demand forecasts and production needs
Drive cost optimisation and supply continuity
Source, evaluate, and appoint suppliers (local & overseas)
Negotiate pricing, contracts, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms
Manage supplier performance, risks, and long-term partnerships
Identify cost reduction opportunities and value engineering initiatives
Monitor price trends, raw material costs, and market conditions
Track cost savings and procurement KPIs
Oversee purchase requisitions, PO issuance, and approval workflows
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and audit requirements
Manage contract administration and documentation
Work closely with production, planning, engineering, finance, and logistics
Resolve supply issues (shortages, delays, quality problems)
Support NPI, project launches, and capacity planning
Balance inventory levels to avoid overstock or production disruption
Develop contingency plans for critical materials and suppliers
Manage supply risks, dual sourcing, and vendor diversification
Ensure suppliers meet quality, regulatory, and ESG requirements
Support audits, certifications, and supplier compliance checks
Enforce ethical sourcing and procurement governance
Manage procurement systems (ERP/MRP) and reporting tools
Improve procurement workflows, cycle time, and data accuracy
Drive digitalisation and automation initiatives
Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team
Set KPIs and performance targets
Build procurement capability and succession planning
Prepare procurement reports (spend analysis, savings, supplier performance)
Provide insights to management on supply risks and cost outlook
Support strategic sourcing and long-term business planning
