Job Description

• Coordinate cross-border freight schedules for both air and surface cargo.
• Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers for export/import clearance.
• Manage supplier/agent performance in India and Singapore.
• Optimise freight costs, vendor rates, and shipment consolidation strategies.
• Handle customs documentation and compliance for both countries.
• Track freight movement and ensure timely arrival at hubs and destinations.
• Maintain strong operational links with overseas agents and transport providers.
• Support wholesale import of Indian goods and export of Singapore products.
• Prepare weekly operation and logistics performance reports.

Requirement

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in freight forwarding, cross-border logistics, or import/export operations
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Certifications such as FIATA / IATA / customs or trade compliance courses are added advantages.
• Able to manage shipment consolidation, vendor rate negotiation and freight cost optimisation.
• Ability to manage supplier and agent performance across multiple countries.
• Strong relationship-management skills with overseas agents, airport handlers, and transport providers.
• Able to coordinate across time zones‚ maintaining timely communication for issue escalation.
• Strong analytical skills to improve consolidation strategy, freight cost structure and workflow efficiency.
