Job summary

A security technology company in Singapore is seeking a qualified technician to provide on-site support for security system installation and maintenance. The role involves outdoor work, requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in fibre optic cable splicing, and a BCSS certificate. Candidates should be able to work independently and have a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License. This is a 5.5-day work week position that may require weekend work.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and outside office hours if needed.

Job description

• 5.5 days work week (may require work on weekends and public holidays if needed)

• 9am - 6pm (Mon-Fri)

• 9am - 1pm (Sat)

Responsibilities

• Outdoor work.
• Provide on-site support to install, repair, and maintain security systems and respond to fault calls.
• Conduct software and hardware inspections.
• Coordinate with clients and contractors.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Perform testing and commissioning.
• Work after office hours and on weekends if needed.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Fibre Optic Cable Splicing, and in installing and repairing security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter systems).
• Candidate must possess at least a Building Construction Safety Supervisors (BCSS)/ Supervise Construction Work in Workplace Safety and Health Certificate.
• Able to work independently.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
