A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a competent facility operations manager to oversee daily operations, ensure safety and security, and lead a team of skilled workers. The responsibilities include conducting inspections, handling emergencies, and onboarding new hires. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility
· Provide for site safety and security; devise and implement site policies and procedures
· Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment; monitor fire alarm control panels and other emergency equipment
· Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures; prepare and file accident reports
· Supervises and leads foremen, Lead men, skilled labor, and work crews in all activities concerned project. Ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the project. Able to demonstrate excellent labor management skills, following policies, procedures and work practices, and developing improvements where necessary.
