Roles & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and address student needs, providing guidance on resources and services available within the graduate school and the larger university.
  • Monitor student progress, identify areas of concern, and develop strategies to promote student success and retention.
  • Assist in the assessment and evaluation of programs, collecting and analyzing data to inform decision-making and improve service quality.
  • Assist in the development and review of operational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and complete academic/student data and reports for review and submission purposes.
  • Conduct student orientation and ensure timely response to students and participants.
  • General administration including programme coordination, evaluations and facilities improvements.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree with experience working in student services or a related field in a higher education setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a student-centered approach.
  • Commitment to fostering inclusivity, diversity, and equity within the graduate school community.
