Job summary

A community service organization in Singapore is looking for a staff member to supervise and guide primary school students. Responsibilities include maintaining order, communicating with parents, and planning activities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum GCE 'O' Level and a passion for teaching children. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level with preferably 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Able to handle English, Chinese, Mathematics, and Science.
• Strong passion and patience in guiding/teaching children.

Job description

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and guidance on daily school homework and testing of spellings for P1 – P6 students
• Maintain order and discipline in the Centre and ensure students’ safety and well-beings at all times
• Plan and conduct Centre’s festive celebrations, holiday activities and enrichment lessons
• Maintain regular communication with parents on their child’s academic progress and behavioural management
• Routine operational duties

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level with preferably 1 year of relevant work experience
• Able to handle all four subjects of English, Chinese, Mathematics and Science will be an advantage
• Team player with strong passion and patience in guiding / teaching children
• Organised and able to multi-task
• Good in Microsoft Office (Words, PowerPoint) advantageous
• Retired teachers, "A" Level / University students are welcome to apply

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 12.30pm to 6.30pm
