Job summary

A children's learning center in Singapore is seeking an energetic individual to implement and supervise teaching and student care activities for children aged 7 to 12. The successful candidate will plan engaging lesson plans, supervise homework, and conduct fun, developmental activities. Candidates must possess at least 'O' levels or equivalent, have a passion for inspiring children, and strong communication skills. This part-time role includes weekday hours from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Qualifications

  • Singaporeans and PRs only.
  • Prior student care or tutoring experience is required.
  • Must show passion to inspire children.

Job description
Main Roles & Responsibilities

Implement, supervise and facilitate all aspects of daily teaching and student care activities for children aged 7 to 12 years old. (The successful candidate should be able to manage Primary One students 2026)

Basic Working hours: Weekdays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
(Part-time /extended timing for the suitable candidate)
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily students’ programs such as fetching students and meal times, etc.
  • Plan weekly and prepare daily lesson plans for students
  • Supervise students to do their homework (including Mandarin school work), learn their spelling, and study for their tests.
  • Provide daily tuition after homework supervision.
  • Conduct classroom activities that are fun and have developmental objectives (such as public speaking, drama and art & craft)
  • Encourage students' participation in classroom activities.
  • Organise school holiday activities and programs.
  • Handle administrative work (such as sales, collection of fees, and collection of forms) and upkeep of centre premises.

  • Qualification: minimum‘O’ levels or similar field related certificates is acceptable
