Job summary

A leading educational institution in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual to oversee daily operations at their Student Care Centre. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, ensuring student safety, and delivering the English Enrichment curriculum with enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in managing a Student Care Centre, Childcare Centre, or Kindergarten.
  • Meticulous and organized, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Student Care centre.
  • Mentor and lead staff to ensure quality service.
  • Prepare and deliver the English Enrichment curriculum.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of Lorna Whiston Student Care centre
  • Ensure overall safety and well‑being of students
  • Liaise with HQ and parents with regards to student and Centre matters
  • Mentor, lead and motivate staff in their work
  • Ensure that programmes and activities are carried out as per set curriculum
  • Plan for manpower and logistics
  • Handle parent enquiries, and provide regular updates to parents regarding their children’s well‑being and academic matters
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of applications and withdrawals of enrolment
  • Handle fees payment and follow up on fees arrears
  • Maintain updated records of students’ profile and finance matters
  • To prepare and deliver the Lorna Whiston English Enrichment curriculum with care and enthusiasm, in ways that facilitate active learning, excite curiosity and enrich the learners’ knowledge and understanding
  • Other related duties as assigned by the CEO and Head of Schools
Lorna Whiston Brand Ambassador
  • To serve as a front‑line representative to families and the external community, providing the best customer service during a customer’s initial admission and enrolment experience
  • Act as brand ambassador and present LW’s programmes to prospective parents and students
  • Know LW programmes’ unique‑selling points and continuously learn new features of the various programmes; communicate LW’s ethos and programmes effectively
  • Build relationships with key partners, affiliates and influencers in the communities locally
Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 2 of relevant experience in managing a Student Care Centre, Childcare Centre, or Kindergarten
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Education, or in another field with a PGCE
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous and able to multi‑task
