PERMANENT POSITION

Location: Pioneer

Salary: up to $7500 per month

Responsibilities
  • Lead student wellbeing efforts by implementing holistic care and personal growth initiatives.
  • Act as the first point of contact for students, offering early support and referrals to specialised services.
  • Develop programmes and campaigns to build students' mental, emotional, and social resilience.
  • Engage with student feedback and data to keep initiatives relevant and effective.
  • Collaborate with faculty and university offices to build a strong support network.
  • Promote an inclusive, caring culture and foster a sense of belonging.
  • Support career planning and post-graduation readiness.
  • Guide student clubs and peer tutoring programmes to nurture leadership and student life.
  • Manage administrative matters such as leave, disciplinary cases, and special support arrangements fairly.
  • Align student care initiatives with broader school and university strategies.
  • Monitor and report outcomes, driving continuous improvement in student wellbeing.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Counselling or related field.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in student services, welfare, or pastoral care, with a strong track record of supporting student development.
  • Student Support Expertise: Proven ability to monitor, follow up, and guide students' progress, empowering them to succeed academically and prepare for their post-graduation journey.
  • Student-Centred Mindset: Deep understanding of student needs and challenges, with the capability to design and implement impactful support initiatives.
  • People Skills: Excellent communication, cultural sensitivity, and empathy, coupled with a genuine passion for student development and community building.
  • Crisis Readiness: Prior training in counselling and crisis support is an advantage.
