Job Description
  • Develop connection details, member sizing, and steel framing layouts.
  • Review and coordinate shop drawings from steel fabricators and subcontractors.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical support during fabrication, delivery, and installation of steel structures.
  • Perform site inspections to verify compliance with design, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure all designs follow relevant engineering codes, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist in resolving design issues, structural clashes, and technical queries from site.
  • Support the project team in planning, scheduling, and managing the structural design portion of the project.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Basic knowledge of steel structural design and construction processes.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Tekla and Revit.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, load calculations, and structural behaviour.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to solve technical problems independently.
  • Willing to attend site meetings and conduct site inspections when required.
  • At least two years experience to using Tekla Model for Structural Steelworks.
