Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a Strategy & Planning Associate Trainee to support strategic planning and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills, working closely with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required. The internship is open to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents graduating in 2024 or 2025.

About This Role

We are seeking a highly analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented Strategy & Planning Associate Trainee to support the full lifecycle of business strategy and performance planning at Circles.Life Singapore. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and cross-functional team members across Marketing, Finance, and Product to support strategic planning, market analysis, and business performance tracking.

This role demands strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

What you will be doing
  • Support end-to-end strategic planning and business performance tracking, including defining KPIs, success metrics, and measurable outcomes.
  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist in financial modeling and business case development for new products, channels, or partnerships.
  • Prepare executive decks and management reports, summarizing strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as Zerofy (cashback wallet) and CirclesAI (AI assistant) with analytics, planning, and reporting.
  • Contribute to post-project reviews, capturing learnings and identifying improvement opportunities for future planning cycles.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to build compelling decks for senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets; familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
  • Passion for AI, technology, and data-driven innovation, with curiosity to explore emerging digital trends.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communicator with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • A learning-oriented mindset and a drive to understand how strategy translates into real-world execution.
Eligibility Criteria

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and a. Graduated in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE), or other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025
  • Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
