Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select transportation carriers and negotiate rates and contracts to balance service levels with operational costs.
• Plan and monitor all inbound and outbound shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures, such as cycle counts, to maintain the accuracy of stock levels.
• Analyze logistical performance using key metrics to identify and implement operational improvements and cost-reduction strategies.
• Ensure all transportation and shipping activities comply with domestic and international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
