Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Contract Chemical Lab Technician to conduct laboratory analysis of finished goods and raw materials. Responsibilities include quality control inspections and administrative support for QA. Candidates with ITE or polytechnic backgrounds in Chemical Process Technology are preferred. The role is based at Gul Circle and offers a salary up to SGD 3000.

Qualifications

• ITE or polytechnic candidates from Chemical Process Technology (Industrial Chemistry) preferred.
• Some prior experience preferred in QA & QC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily laboratory analysis of finished goods, raw materials and other related testing.
• Work closely with the production team to perform in-process quality control (QC) inspections at production lines.
• Assist in generating COAs/COCs and provide support on administrative tasks including QA review and approval in the SAP system.
• Perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance for analytical instruments.
• Conduct laboratory investigations when required.

Location & Schedule

No transport allowance but there is company bus from Boon Lay, Jurong East, CCK, Outram, Bedok MRT. Mon-Fri 8:15-5:00

Responsibilities

• To conduct daily laboratory analysis of finished goods, raw materials and other related testing.
• To work closely with production team to perform in-process quality control (QC) inspections at production lines
• To assist in generating COAs/COCs and provide support on administrative tasks including QA review and approval in the SAP system
• To perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance for analytical instruments
• To perform routine and safety program checks within the laboratory
• To practice safe work habits, including complying with all EHS rules and regulations
• To conduct laboratory investigations when required
• Any other ad hoc tasks and short-term projects which the supervisor may assign from time to time

Qualifications

• ITE or polytechnic candidates from Chemical Process Technology (Industrial Chemistry) preferred
• Some prior experience preferred in QA & QC
