Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and ready for procedures
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during operations, including instrument handling, maintaining aseptic techniques, and ensuring patient safety
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition before, during, and after surgery, and provide immediate response to any complications
• Perform pre- and post-operative care, including patient education, documentation, and coordination with other healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, OT safety standards, and proper documentation according to hospital policies

Qualifications

• Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board
• With at least 2-3 years in post registration clinical experience preferably in OR/AU/plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery setting
• Demonstrated ability to actively listen to patients’ needs and provide appropriate support and assistance
• Works precisely and accurately with details and facts
