Job Overview

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. This role supports daily medical routines, monitors residents’ conditions, and responds to emergencies under the supervision of the doctor and head nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and curative nursing care as directed by the doctor and head nurse.
• Monitor and manage the overall health and daily medical needs of residents.
• Participate in and supervise nursing routines, ensuring proper care procedures are followed.
• Oversee and evaluate the work performance of nursing aides and health attendants.
• Respond promptly to medical and emergency situations within the Home.
• Monitor vital signs and document residents’ health conditions accurately.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities when needed.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree/Professional qualification in Nursing or equivalent.
• Registered Nurse with valid certification from the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Strong ability to provide preventive and curative nursing care.
• Able to respond appropriately in medical emergencies.
• Competent in monitoring vital signs and recognising changes in residents’ conditions.
• Ability to assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs.
• Compassionate, responsible, and able to work rotating shifts.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Sunday (Rotating Shift – 4 days/week); 7.30am to 7.30pm
