Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description: Casambi is looking for a field application engineer to grow and support the APAC market.

Details: Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm Office located at Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team of other Field Application Engineers across APAC.
• Provide technical support to Casambi projects across APAC via email, phone call, video calls and on-site visits (Singapore only).
• Able to communicate clearly with international customers in verbal and written English and Mandarin.
• Work with escalation points with the global Technical Support team to drive the resolution of complex issues.
• Provide technical support and onboarding to Casambi Ecosystem partners, enabling them to effectively utilise our platform and services.
• RMA products investigation for Casambi products across APAC.
• Design, specify and provide smart lighting controls design solution, meeting client expectations and adhering to company standards.
• Collaborate with APAC Sales team to ensure smooth customer journey from Sales team to Design.
• Specify Casambi’s wireless lighting control solutions to projects in the market.
• Work with global Specification Success team as a regional advocate for specifiers in APAC region.

Education

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong command of Mandarin, spoken.
• Preferably additional command of Finnish, spoken.
• Degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in providing hands‑on demonstrations and explaining technical and functional details of lighting control systems.
• Proficient in handling and troubleshooting electrical products.
• Proven 5‑7 years of technical expertise and experience in lighting and lighting controls such as DALI, KNX or DMX is a big plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
• Prior working experience with electrical contractors and system integrators is a plus.
• Previous project experience from design stage to installation stage.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to independently multitask and prioritize work. Attention to detail and technical problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency required in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
