Teaching Subjects: Lower Secondary - Mathematics

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Except Wednesday), 7 am to 4 pm. Wednesday 7 am to 1.30 pm

Working Location: Bukit Batok

Job Description
  • Deliver clear and effective lessons using a variety of relevant teaching strategies for students with autism
  • Play an important role in the planning and development of curriculum and programmes to facilitate student learning
  • Exhibits deep commitment to the holistic education and development of students
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and with parents in providing quality education and care for the students
  • Understand students\' diverse learning and developmental needs, interests, abilities and potential through observations, diagnoses and discussions (with students, parents and colleagues), and adapts approaches accordingly
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-professional team and parents in providing quality education and feedback for students.
  • Plan and write IEP lesson plans, reports, records and documentation.
  • Guide and coach Teacher Aides
Qualifications
  • Recognised Degree or Polytechnic Diploma
  • Teaching qualifications or equivalent in Special Education is preferred
  • 5 credits in GCE 'O' level with a pass in English and Mathematics is mandatory
  • Preferably 3 years of experience at secondary level
  • Familiar with national curriculum
  • Demonstrate passion in teaching
