Job summary

A leading food and beverage establishment in Singapore is looking for a skilled kitchen manager. The successful candidate will prepare meals, manage kitchen standards, and ensure inventory quality. You must have a diploma and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the F&B industry. This position requires a self-motivated, team-oriented individual with a strong customer service mindset, ready to start immediately.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a food and beverage setup.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to start work immediately or on short notice.

  • Prepare meals and food to meet guest specifications.
  • Manage kitchen inventory ensuring quality of produce.

Job description
Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare meals and food to meet the specifications of guests in a timely manner.
  • Properly measuring kitchen ingredients and food portions.
  • Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules and sanitation requirements.
  • Using kitchen knives and equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers, etc. in food preparation.
  • Managing the kitchen inventory and ensuring produces are fresh and of high quality.
  • Ensuring proper food temperatures when cooking and proper storage thereafter.
  • Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organised and sanitised.
  • Taking charge of kitchen opening, closing and other side duties as directed by the Head Chef & Director/Management.
Requirements
  • Diploma holder with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a F&B setup.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision at times.
  • A supportive team player and possesses a strong customer service mindset, resourceful with good organisational skills.
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
Working Hours
  • 5 days work week
  • 44 hours per week
  • Rotating weekends and public holidays off
