Job summary

A solar energy solutions provider in Singapore seeks a passionate Solar Project Engineer to manage solar installations across rooftops. The ideal candidate will design and execute projects, manage teams, and ensure client satisfaction. Candidates must possess a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of project management experience. Only Singaporeans or Permanent Residents may apply.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in project management.
• Candidate with experience in solar project execution is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and install solar energy systems.
• Manage installation teams on-site.

We are looking for a Solar Project Engineer who is passionate about deploying solar energy in Singapore. The successful candidate will be in charge of executing solar projects on roof tops all across Singapore and the region.

Job Requirement

• Design, build and install solar energy systems
• Onsite planning and managing of installation teams
• Contact point between the company and client during construction stage
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Hands on implementation on site
• Design the full construction from pre to post-construction and handover of the system to the client
• Complete assigned projects on schedule and within budget
• Identify any potential safety risks within projects and putting in place strategies to mitigate any risks
• Ensure all required Environmental, Health and Safety requirements are met.
• Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Ensure smooth delivery of the project completion/SystemTurn On

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communicator who is able to work independently
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
• 3-5 Years of experience in project management
• Candidate with experience in solar project execution will be in advantage
• Knowledge in energy modelling software (PVsyst), 2D and construction modelling and drawings
• A team player who is results and customer oriented, independent, creative and passionate about renewables
