We are seeking a Solar Monitoring Engineer to oversee the daily monitoring of inverter data, system yield, and overall solar plant performance. This role is ideal for an engineering professional who enjoys working with numbers, data analytics, and performance optimization. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing system data, identifying potential issues, and ensuring optimal performance of solar PV systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze daily inverter data to track energy yield and system status.
  • Identify underperforming systems and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Develop and maintain real-time dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work with field technicians to diagnose and resolve system faults or anomalies.
  • Conduct data-driven performance analysis to optimize system efficiency.
  • Assist in developing predictive maintenance strategies using historical data trends.
  • Generate performance reports and provide insights to the operations and management team.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system design and software analytics tools.
  • Stay updated on the latest solar technology trends, analytics tools, and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, Electronic, IT or related field).
  • Passion for data analysis, numbers, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience with solar PV systems, inverters, and monitoring software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Excel, Python, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying trends and anomalies.
