Overview

Position: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: WFH in SG / Temporary Relocate to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Working hours: 6 Days Work Week - Monday to Friday, 9.00AM to 7.00PM

Salary (commensurate with experience): Salary Open to Negotiations + OT + AWS + Performance Bonus + 6 Monthly Salary Adjustments + Birthday/Festive/Marriage Allowance + Medical Benefits + Relocation Allowance + Accommodation Allowance (For relocation to KL) + 7-17 Days of Annual Leave + Yearly Travel Allowance

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases covering functional, API, performance, and security scenarios.
• Conduct performance testing (load, stress, concurrency, stability) using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Identify performance bottlenecks (CPU, memory, database) and provide optimization insights.
• Log, track, and validate defects using tools like JIRA.
• Develop and maintain automated and performance test scripts to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to ensure quality standards.
• Prepare test and performance reports with clear quality assessments and recommendations.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in functional and performance testing.
• Proficient in test management, API testing, and performance testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Postman, JMeter).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or Shell for test automation.
• Solid understanding of Web systems, databases, and security testing fundamentals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and defect analysis skills.
• Familiar with Linux environments and basic system monitoring commands.
• Effective communicator and team player with Agile experience.
• Candidates needs to have mandarin language proficiency to communicate with Mandarin speakingcustomers
