About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Software Lead to drive the development of secure, resilient, and high-performing digital solutions for the public sector. This role combines hands‑on technical leadership with the responsibility of guiding and growing a team of engineers. You will ensure that all delivered systems are robust, scalable, and fully compliant with government technology and security standards.

As a key technical partner, you will collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and infrastructure teams to convert complex requirements into practical, modern, and impactful solutions. Your work will directly contribute to elevating public services and enhancing the digital experience for citizens.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of quality and innovation.
• Design and oversee end‑to‑end system architectures across both frontend and backend components.
• Build and review RESTful APIs that meet stringent security, performance, and maintainability requirements.
• Promote secure development principles and integrate DevSecOps practices across delivery pipelines.
• Define, build, and optimize CI/CD workflows to ensure efficient release and testing processes.
• Partner with stakeholders from various disciplines—including UX, business analysis, and ops—to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Apply cloud best practices on AWS or Azure for deployment, operations, and system monitoring.
• Deliver solutions that integrate with government digital services (e.g., Singpass, Corppass) in compliance with sector standards.
• Support project planning activities such as effort estimation, timeline management, and risk assessment.
