- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to workstations, network connectivity, software, and peripherals before and during events.
- Work with IT security teams to implement security protocols, including endpoint protection, encryption, VPN, and access controls on event and user devices.
- Ensure proper account provisioning, permissions setup, and user support for secure access to event resources and corporate systems.
- Support the installation and configuration of specialized event software, including video conferencing (VC) platforms, collaboration tools, and media playback systems.
- Maintain and enforce patch management, software updates, and endpoint security compliance on all devices used for events.
- Document IT setups, event requirements, and incident reports to build knowledge base and improve future event support workflows.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices in IT security, desktop management, and event technology support.
Requirements and Qualifications:

- Solid understanding of IT security principles, including device hardening, data encryption, secure access controls, and network segmentation.
- Hands‑on experience with network troubleshooting, VPN configuration, and secure Wi‑Fi setups.
- Familiarity with Video Conferencing (VC) platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, WebEx) and how to support them in high‑demand environments.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills in live, high‑pressure environments.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical users.
- Ability to work on‑site and during events, including occasional off‑hours and weekends depending on event schedules.
