• Implement and validate backup and restore mechanisms.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Automation & Management
   • Provision, configure, and manage virtual machines using Proxmox VE 7.2.
   • Maintain infrastructure segmentation across Internet, Extranet, and Intranet zones.
   • Manage VLAN, port, and firewall configurations as per GDC policies.
2. CI/CD and Deployment Pipelines
   • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub/GitFlow methodologies, and Docker Compose.
   • Automate deployment of microservices in Docker containers across various tiers (Web, App, Data, IT, TMT).
3. Container Orchestration
   • Manage and optimize Docker environments within VMs.
   • Monitor and restart failed services using Docker tools.
4. Monitoring & Logging
   • Implement and maintain centralized logging and monitoring tools.
   • Configure alerts and system health dashboards to support 24/7 real‑time monitoring.
5. Security & Compliance
   • Apply system hardening practices at OS, VM, and container levels.
   • Ensure compliance with CIS Benchmarks and VAPT readiness.
   • Work closely with security auditors for SSAT, VAPT, and vulnerability mitigation.
6. Backup, Recovery & Rollback
   • Implement and validate backup and restore mechanisms (MinIO, PostgreSQL).
   • Define and test rollback plans for critical updates and patches.
7. Support Development & Testing
   • Maintain isolated dev/staging environments mirroring production for integration and UAT.
   • Collaborate with developers to deploy and troubleshoot application components (Node.js, Nginx, Postgres).

Required Skills & Qualifications
