Job summary

A well established automation systems company located in Woodlands is seeking a skilled developer to create and maintain machine vision and GUI applications. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in developing industrial automation equipment applications using C#, WPF, and .NET Framework. This is a full-time role with a Monday to Friday schedule, offering a variable bonus and excellent benefits.

Job Scope

• Develop and maintain custom machine vision and GUI applications.
• Design machine vision algorithms for product quality inspection, process control, and manufacturing automation.
• Knowledge in deep learning-based vision solutions.
• Make decisions in ordering, building, and maintaining PCs and PC based GUI software.
• Configure vision systems (host PC, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, interfaces, etc.).
• Analyze project requirements; Design, develop and test the multitasking Windows desktop applications for industrial equipment.
• Understand and interface with third party embedded controllers using their APIs.
• Optimize existing software to improve the performance and fix bugs.
• Provide technical support for the field.

Requirement

• Degree in Computer Engineering / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years experience in vision and developing windows applications for industrial automation equipment using C#, WPF and .NET Framework
• Good understanding in TCP/IP, RS-232, Camera interface and any of motion controller interface protocols
