Job description

This Senior Developer role is based in Singapore and is for Singaporean applicants only.

As a Senior Developer, you are responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of complex project modules. You should have good experience in application of standard software development principles and be able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute your tasks. You should have in-depth knowledge of at least one development technology/programming language and be able to respond to technical queries/requests from team members and customers. You should also be able to coach, guide and mentor junior members in the team.

Requirements

• Experience with programming in an object‑oriented language, including Java, C++, C#, or Python
• Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure services (OpenStack, Docker, Cloud Foundry, AWS ELB)
• Expert knowledge of modern protocols and APIs (Protobufs/Thrift/REST/JSON/Cap'n Proto)
• Experience with MySQL
• Experience in complete design and development of Web applications
• Experience in web hosting
• BS in computer science or a related field

Preferred

• Certification in Amazon Web Services
