A community organization in Singapore seeks a qualified individual to enhance family development through needs assessments, casework support, and the coordination of family-focused programmes. The role involves developing workshops, managing event logistics, and engaging with beneficiaries directly. Candidates should hold a Diploma or Degree in Social Work and have at least 2 years of relevant experience in social service. The position offers a collaborative environment within a dedicated team.
Conduct needs assessments through focus group discussions, interviews, and home visits to better understand family dynamics, challenges, and strengths.
Provide casework support and appropriate referrals for issues such as financial difficulties and access to community resources.
Maintain up-to-date case records and beneficiary databases
Work collaboratively with volunteers, partner agencies and internal teams to coordinate support plans
Develop and facilitate family-focused programmes, workshops, and engagement activities tailored to beneficiaries' needs.
Prepare communication materials to inform families about services and events, and respond to queries through various channels.
Administer interim support and check-ins for vulnerable families
Support event planning and logistics for family engagement activities, ensuring positive and meaningful interactions for participants.
Support the overall coordination of the assistance disbursement event, ensuring activities were aligned with the intended goals.
Assist with cross-team collaboration across logistics, volunteer engagement, and administration to maintain smooth operations.
Facilitate communication with external stakeholders and sponsors.
Manage day-to-day interactions with beneficiaries, including intake processes, needs assessments, and follow-ups.
Plan and carry out distribution of rations and vouchers, as well as family engagement activities.
Budget tracking and administrative tasks.
Diploma / Degree in Social Work (or related discipline).
At least 2 years of relevant experience in social service, casework support and community programmes
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
