Job description:

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to own and grow our social media presence through strong strategy, data-driven decision making, and high-performing content. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and analytics, with ownership of channel performance, audience growth, and measurable business impact. You will be responsible for shaping social media strategy, driving audience growth, and ensuring content delivers against engagement, traffic, and conversion goals. This role requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable leading initiatives while staying close to the data.

Note: This role will focus on managing and growing the social media presence of Ambi, a brand under Ask & Embla.

What You Will Do
  • Design and implement creative, social-first strategies aligned with business objectives and measurable outcomes
  • Own social media channel performance and growth, using analytics to guide decisions and priorities
  • Strategize and guide the creation of viral and high-performing content with clear, data-backed goals across engagement, traffic, and conversion
  • Measure, monitor, and report on key performance indicators, translating insights into clear actions and new initiatives
  • Build and maintain dashboards or reporting tools to track channel performance, campaign ROI, and audience behavior
  • Work closely with content creators, videographers, copywriters, and freelance or remote resources to deliver consistent, high-quality content
  • Conduct regular research on trends, audience behavior, and competitor activity, using insights to continuously refine social strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with performance marketing, influencer marketing, merchandising, and customer service to ensure alignment and data consistency
  • Stay up to date with emerging platforms, tools, and social media trends to keep the brand innovative and competitive
Who You Are
Required
  • At least 5 years of experience managing and growing social media channels with measurable impact on engagement, reach, traffic, and conversions.
  • Strong understanding of social-first strategy, platform behavior, and performance-driven content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.
  • Hands-on experience planning, executing, and optimizing content calendars supported by data and audience insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
  • Comfortable balancing creative strategy with execution and accountability for results.
  • Experience working with content creators, videographers, copywriters, and external or remote resources.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to align stakeholders around creative and data-backed decisions.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with Ambi as a brand, or a strong personal resonance with its aesthetic, values, and community.
  • Experience working with brands that have a strong visual identity, point of view, or lifestyle-driven positioning.
  • Strong instinct for culturally relevant, authentic content rather than overly commercial social output.
  • Experience collaborating closely with performance marketing or influencer teams to align organic and paid social strategies.
