Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Site Superintendent to assist the Project Manager with site operations and manpower management. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience in building projects and have completed at least 2 such projects. The Site Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

  • Responsible for the site setting up and tower crane location erection & dismantling.
  • Ensure all inspection activities are carried out in accordance with the inspection & test plan for structural works.
  • Monitor and supervise Foremen / Sub‑contractor, ensure compliance to inspection & test plan, quality procedures and standards of workmanship.
  • Resolve drawing discrepancies prior to start work and settle drawing issues with technical team & consultants.
  • Plan and prepare prelims, budgeting and monitor cost report.
  • Plan for site access during different stages of work.
  • Planning all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
  • Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 6 – 8 years of experience in building projects
  • Minimally have completed 2 building projects.
  • Have good interpersonal skills
