Job Responsibilities
  • Assist the Construction Manager and Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of daily project operations to ensure smooth execution.
  • Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, and relevant stakeholders to resolve project‑related issues promptly.
  • Conduct and participate in regular meetings with owners, clients, contractors, and sub-contractors to discuss project progress, challenges, and deliverables.
  • Review and analyze technical drawings, identify discrepancies, and raise technical queries to ensure accuracy and alignment during project execution.
  • Perform in‑progress and joint inspections to verify that work complies with design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, update, and maintain the Project Quality Plan, ensuring adherence to the required quality benchmarks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of progress reports, technical documentation, and work schedules.
  • Support risk assessment activities, implementing mitigation strategies for potential project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards at all project stages.
  • Manage and optimize resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to achieve project objectives efficiently.
Requirements
  • Educational Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision and project management, preferably with exposure to LTA (Land Transport Authority) projects.
    Proven track record in handling projects of similar scale and complexity, with experience in planning and scheduling.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration among stakeholders.
    Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    Proficiency in construction planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, CAD) and other technical tools.
    Deep understanding of construction methodologies, safety practices, and quality standards.
    Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications with attention to detail.
    Strong presentation skills to convey technical and project updates effectively.
  • Additional Advantage: Candidates available to start work immediately or on short notice will be preferred.
    Certifications in workplace safety or project management (e.g., PMP, WSH certifications) are a plus.
