Position Title: Site Engineer / Architectural Coordinator (Civil Works)
Working Location: Based on project site
Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday-Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm; Saturday half day WFH)
Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall project planning and management, overseeing execution, monitoring site progress, and ensuring timely completion.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and the latest WSH Act provisions.
- Manage cost control, resource allocation, and scheduling to deliver projects within budget.
- Liaise with clients and their representatives on site matters; attend site meetings when required.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to team members.
- Identify potential issues, implement solutions, and evaluate project effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the project team by establishing guidelines, procedures, and offering supervision and advice.
- Resolve operational problems promptly to minimise project delays.
- Ensure adherence to organisational and regulatory safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all project matters.
- Handle authority submissions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the site team (engineers, supervisors, foremen, and workers) complies with client and regulatory standards.
- Support management in monitoring and reviewing risk control measures.
- Recommend appropriate actions to mitigate or eliminate identified risks.
- Work with the QS department on subcontractor award processes.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals for ad-hoc tenders.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team.
- High initiative, able to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings.
- Familiar with BCA submission processes and regulatory requirements.
