Position Title: Site Engineer / Architectural Coordinator (Civil Works)

Working Location: Based on project site

Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday-Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm; Saturday half day WFH)

Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead overall project planning and management, overseeing execution, monitoring site progress, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and the latest WSH Act provisions.
  • Manage cost control, resource allocation, and scheduling to deliver projects within budget.
  • Liaise with clients and their representatives on site matters; attend site meetings when required.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to team members.
  • Identify potential issues, implement solutions, and evaluate project effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the project team by establishing guidelines, procedures, and offering supervision and advice.
  • Resolve operational problems promptly to minimise project delays.
  • Ensure adherence to organisational and regulatory safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all project matters.
  • Handle authority submissions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the site team (engineers, supervisors, foremen, and workers) complies with client and regulatory standards.
  • Support management in monitoring and reviewing risk control measures.
  • Recommend appropriate actions to mitigate or eliminate identified risks.
  • Work with the QS department on subcontractor award processes.
  • Assist in preparing technical proposals for ad-hoc tenders.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
