Job description

Salary: Up to $4,500 per month
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
Location: Tuas ( walking distance from MRT)

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement sensory and consumer research methodologies, including discrimination, descriptive, and hedonic testing.
  • Manage the recruitment, training, and performance monitoring of sensory panelists.
  • Conduct statistical analyses of sensory and consumer data; prepare comprehensive technical reports with actionable insights to support product development and decision‑making.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to support R&D and product innovation activities.
  • Maintain and manage the sensory laboratory, including procurement, administration of sensory tokens, and testing‑related materials.
  • Oversee sample preparation and ensure adherence to testing protocols.
  • Support ad‑hoc sensory testing and product evaluation projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results.
Qualifications
  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Sensory Science, or a related field.
  • Min 2 years of experience in sensory evaluation, consumer insights, or product testing (experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus).
  • Proficient in sensory methodologies and statistical data analysis.
  • Familiarity with sensory or consumer research software tools (e.g., XLSTAT) is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
