The Technical Team

The Technical Department is a vital department responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our diverse fleet of vessels. Our talented team plays a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency in maritime operations. We are committed to safeguarding the integrity and performance of our vessels, while optimizing their operational capabilities. What You Will Do

As Senior Vessel Manager, you will provide operation management services to several ships under charge to ensure they run in a safe manner as required by our organisation, and the running costs for all the vessels are within the budget allocated by the ship owners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for safe operation of a Fleet of Oil/Chemical Tankers vessels assigned to you.
  • Ensure vessel compliance with company, SMS, international and local regulations.
  • Besides day to day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise tank cleaning operation , ensure safety of navigation , and carry out vessel inspections
  • Required to conduct in-depth investigations when required, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.
  • You will also supervise the preparation of vessels for various 3rd party inspections like – Sire / CDI / MESQAC Inspections / TMSA Review.
What We Are Looking For
  • To have Chief Engineer’s or Master’s (F.G.) Certificate of Competency.
  • Significant Sailing experience on Oil/Chemical Tankers.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Added advantage if the candidate has worked on Coated and Stainless Tanks
  • You should be professionally sound, highly motivated & a good team player.
  • Good leadership qualities & strong commitment to safety/compliance procedures are essentially needed in our organization.
