A leading engineering company in Singapore seeks a Senior Technician to support building operations. The role includes inspecting M&E systems, supervising service providers, and ensuring safety compliance. Candidates must have a NITEC in Facility Technology and 3-5 years of relevant experience in M&E operations. Proficiency in HVAC systems and knowledge of CMMS is essential. This position offers a rotating work schedule and various benefits including AWS and allowances.
Rotating 2-week schedule (Mon – Fri):
7.00am – 4.00pm
8.30am – 5.30pm
9.30am – 6.30pm
Alternate Saturday (Half Day): 8.30am – 12.30pm
13th Month AWS + Variable Bonus

We are looking for a Senior Technician (Engineering Services) to support daily building operations and ensure smooth functioning of all M&E systems. The role involves inspections, troubleshooting, contractor supervision, and maintaining high safety and service standards within a commercial building environment.
Conduct daily inspections and report defects or irregularities with recommended rectification plans.
Monitor and ensure all M&E systems are operating at optimal performance levels.
Supervise service providers during maintenance and servicing works to ensure compliance with work schedules and quality standards.
Respond promptly to breakdowns, service requests, feedback, and complaints from tenants and building users until closure.
Perform troubleshooting, fault investigation, and recommend rectification solutions.
Supervise and coordinate contractors for project works, including testing, commissioning, and defect rectification.
Facilitate tenant fitting-out, reinstatement, and maintenance works in compliance with safety standards, building regulations, and house rules.
Carry out minor repair works for electrical, sanitary, plumbing, and general building works.
Participate as a member of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT), including table-top exercises and fire evacuation drills.
Support OHS compliance through safety inspections, hazard reporting, and follow-up on corrective actions.
Participate in safety training and promote a safe working environment for tenants and building users.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Facility Technology (Mechanical & Electrical Services), Facilities Management & Engineering, or equivalent.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in building M&E operations.
Strong technical knowledge of M&E building services.
Hands‑on experience in HVAC systems and knowledge of BMS is required.
Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
