Job Description
  • Perform maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) tasks for aircraft components in accordance with technical manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Examine parts for maintenance, repair or replacement, troubleshoots component defects and take corrective actions to restore components to the desired performance requirements.
  • Ensure and comply with airworthiness and legislative requirements, and the organization’s safety, health and quality systems.
  • Check and certify workshop maintenance test rigs, machinery and tools records; follow company procedures that relate to the accurate maintenance of aircraft components.
  • Release and certify aerospace component in compliance to part 145 requirement. (FAA, EASA, CAAC,CAAS, CAAM and etc)
  • Performs special processes and repair of composite structures, and documents all completed tasks.
  • Identify components and parts that are unserviceable to raise parts requisitions.
  • Perform quality control functions, including inspection of incoming materials and outgoing serviced items, and registration of non-conformances in accordance with the company procedures (Quality manual, AP&P, etc)
  • Support in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices.
  • Provide guidance to the junior technician
  • Able to oversee daily activities in the absence of Cell Leader
  • Able to do advance troubleshooting and liaise with engineer to provide resolution to repair aircraft component.
  • Support in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Aerospace Engineering or in similar discipline with about 5 years of experiences in the same capacity leading successful cell operations
  • Candidates with certifications in CAAS L11/L12/CO1 or M10,or equivalent papers would be an advantage.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.
  • Self-driven and motivated working as a team player.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
